Our latest candidate for choir member of the month is none other than Major Vernon Fortesque-Smythe. Pictured here following one of The Choirs infamous weekends away, (i believe it was Basra 2008!)

The Major has been with the choir since it's ill-fated recruitment drive which was focused on A.A. meetings, and i don't mean that noble band of mobile mechanics who keep our streets free of abandoned vehicles.

 

"Major Vern" is probably the most accomplished member of the top tenor section.

He has been known to drink Brian Brumfitt under the table, eat more do-nuts than Doug Walton and, i know you will find this the most unbelievable, arrive later for choir rehearsals than Paul Trow!!
