FORTHCOMING EVENTS

On Friday 14th November, 7.30 P.M. the Choir shall be performing at St. Leonard's and St. Jude's Church in Scawsby, Doncaster. This concert is to raise much needed funds for the research into a cure for Retinitis Pigmentosa, Neil Birkin(our recently retired chairman) has a son, Steven, who suffers from this disease.

 

Retinisis pigmentosa (RP) is a hereditary disease of the eye that leads to deterioration of vision and blindness. If anyone wishes to donate for the support of research into this greatly underfunded disease, please make cheques  payable to "The British Retinitis Pigmentosa Society" and post to Barnburgh Male Voice Choir, c/o 90 Sandygate Wath-upon-Dearne Rotherham S637JT. Friday 28th November. Party time!! Christmas extravaganza at Hickleton Golf Club.

 On Saturday 13th Dec 2008, Christmas Concert Goldthorpe Parish church 7.30 P.M.

Wednesday 17th December sees the Choir singing a Christmas programme at The Crown in Barnburgh, 8 P.M.

And on Friday 19th December at Pastures Lodge in Mexborough,  also at 8 P.M.

On Sat 20th December The Choir will be performing between 1.30 and 2.00 P.M. at "A Victorian Christmas" in St Peter's Church, Barnburgh to raise funds for the church restoration project.

On monday 22nd December from 6.30 p.m. onwards , The Choir will be singing for the shoppers at Tesco in Balby, Doncaster.
