And finally........for my final epistle of the year i am taking the opportunity to thank two of our members for their services and friendship to the choir;

Scott Bramley and Matthew Cayton, our two youngest and in many ways prolific members have both moved down to London Village to further their respective careers, Scott as a singer and musician and Matthew as a teacher.

Scott and matthew were a breath of fresh air and also lowered the average age of the choir by about thirty years!

They will be greatly missed by one and all but their prescence will linger. I shall remember matt for his very distinctive laugh and compulsion to learn his part and help re-build our ailing second tenor section. His determination to learn what is considered by most to be the toughest part to learn has rubbed off and the improvement is amazing.

I had the privilidge of sitting alongside Scott in the Wodge, and his attention to detail has made me try harder to learn my own part, his ability to pick up a song with ease and sing it with confidence has been an inspiration.

Good luck to both of you,and thank you from all of us in the blue and golds
